Open Gardens

In past years some of us at Harlands Gardens have taken part in the National Garden Scheme. Across the country, garden owners open up their gardens to visitors under the aegis of the NGS to raise money for charity. Gardens both large and small, grand and humble (ours!) throw open their garden gates and it's a great opportunity to get new ideas, chat to the owners and generally have a good old nosey around other people's patches! Earlier in the year, many gardens were unable to open due to Covid 19, however some of the larger gardens are now opening up.

Sadly for us, many smaller gardens will not be able to open at the moment as we do not have room to allow for social distancing. The Harlands Gardens Group were planning to open next weekend (6th and 7th June) but that will not now be possible. Instead we are working on releasing a short virtual tour of  our garden highlights; there will also be a link to the National Garden Scheme website so that anyone who wishes to can make a small donation as fundraising will be down catastrophically this year.
