Lockdown restrictions have eased a little - thank heavens

Thank heavens the lockdown restrictions have eased a little and we can all now venture out a little further than we could a few weeks ago.  The garden continues to benefit from the extra attention it receives every day and is beginning to look rather lovely.  So pleased with how everything is growing this year.

The 'Gardiners Finger Bar and Grill' (aka the pub at the end of the garden) is a welcome place to visit when all the bars and restaurants stay closed. Hurray for the warmer nights when we no longer need to light a fire.

The Peony's have started to say hello and look so cheerful signifying the start of early summer.

The 'Allium Sensation' are exactly that reaching up the sky with their very long stems - I love these :)

The "Pass the Wine" iris is almost finished but hanging on perhaps for one more week - this is a real beauty.

So whatever your are doing this bank holiday weekend, enjoy your gardens !

Stay safe everyone with best wishes from No55.
